This week is National Small Business Week and as much as the title makes it about us it is really about you, and so we wanted to take some time to extend our thanks for both your support and patronage over the years.
Here in Rhode Island we've seen numerous long time institutions close their doors in the last few years. The reasons are multiple, but one of which is the illusion that a Small Business cannot offer the same discounts and selection that Big Box and Online Retails can.
Luckily with time we have built relationships with some of the biggest names in the industry. Names like adidas, Asics, Under Armour, Bauer, CCM and Wilson and have become, much like our home Rhode Island a Big Personality in a Small State and as we have grown the volume of business has allowed us to not only survive but thrive.
That said, without you this never would have happened. Whether you've returned due to a great customer service experience, the low prices or the opportunity to save money while getting value for your old gear (or a little of each) When you choose to support a small business your actions help a lot of people and help your community as a whole. We have been in business since 1992, many of you have been with us since then and others have joined through the years. Each of you holds a place in our heads and hearts when we make a business decision. We owe you all the appreciation for sticking with us and growing along side of us and because of this we
remain true to our roots even as the company grows in other avenues. Many of us have played sports at some point in our lives or have kids, relatives and friends that do as well. When you come into 2nd Time Around we want you to have an experience that you'll always remember, because much about sports is based around memories. We do want those memories to start with us.
Coming into our store is so much more than just a transaction to us. We care about being the place that everyone in the State and the surrounding areas can come to and know that they will be treated as a friend with a need and a specific budget in mind. Sports are not all about the equipment but you need the gear to start and continue performing, so we have strived to fit you with what works specifically for you and what you need to pen your own classic sports memories.
